Where: City of Love, Paris, Ooh la la!
When: September 2014
Weather: Beautiful late summer days
Agenda: Shopping, Sight seeing, Jay Z & Beyonce, Macarons!
Tip: Travel to Paris from London on the Eurostar. It goes directly to the centre of Paris, Gare du Nord, and saves travelling time from Charles De Gaulle airport.
We stayed at: La Maison Favart – the cutest Parisian hotel. Think pink, grey, chic & girlie! Love!!
Things to put on your when in Paris ‘MUST DO‘ list:
Angelina – {Rue De Rivoli} especially if you love hot chocolate, this is a must as it’s AHH-MAZING!! If you’re not a lover of the drinkable chocolate then pop in for their delicious range of pastries and macarons!
Eiffel Tower – {Champ de Mars} You can’t miss this iconic landmark. If you have an aversion to heights, then at least go on the carousel – makes for such a pretty photo op!
Love Lock Bridge – {Pont des Arts} The iconic love lock bridge. Purchase a padlock, write your names on the padlock, attach it to the bridge and throw the key in the River Seine which runs beneath. Everlasting love will be yours! *Sigh*
Chanel – {31 Rue De Cambon} As any Chanel lover knows, this is ‘THE’ original Chanel boutique and where Gabrielle Coco lived, in the apartments above. ‘Honey! We’re home!!!’
and of course, you can’t go to Paris without a pit stop at Laduree {Rue Royale} The branch where Louis-Ernest Laduree founded Laduree in 1862 – Go here if you want to avoid the tourists at the Champs-Elysees bakery, their milkshake definitely brings all the boys to the yard! 😉
Bon voyage!
xoxo
